Director, Registry Operations
Amy Westervelt, ACR Director of Registry Operations, leads the operation and continuous improvement of ACR's registry infrastructure. This includes overseeing registry services, client onboarding, carbon credit issuance, and registry data and reporting, as well as collaboration with technology partners to enhance platform functionality, scalability, transparency, and market innovation while ensuring compliance with regulatory and program requirements.
Amy's previous work focused on designing, implementing, and operating digital registry platforms and market infrastructure for carbon credits, renewable electricity, sustainable aviation fuel, and other environmental commodities, giving her broad experience across voluntary and compliance environmental markets. Prior to ACR, Amy held leadership roles at Energy Web, where she led product strategy, program delivery, and business development for environmental registry platforms, including the SAFc Registry, the world's largest sustainable aviation fuel registry by volume. Prior to Energy Web, she worked at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), where she helped incubate the organization's energy blockchain initiative and supported its transition into the independent organization that became Energy Web. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
