IFM Tool for Comparable Properties Analysis
This tool is used by projects adhering to an applicable improved forest management (IFM) Methodology to determine baseline harvest intensities based on observed harvest treatments on similar properties in the region. Projects using this tool are required to utilize the Comparable Properties Analysis Calculator, found in the Reference Documents section below. The initial version of this tool was developed in conjunction with the Methodology for IFM on Non-Federal U.S. Forestlands version 2.1. Please refer to its process documentation to learn more.
The tool version 1.1 is applicable for GHG projects verifying reporting periods with end dates on or after 10/1/2025. GHG projects verifying reporting periods with end dates before 10/1/2025 may optionally use v1.1.
