REGISTER HERE to join the free webinar to include the American Carbon Registry and guest speakers Dr. Steven Deverel of Hydrofocus, and Dr. Patricia Oikawa of UC Berkeley for a presentation of a new, draft carbon offset methodology to quantify greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions from the restoration of California deltaic and coastal wetlands and rice cultivation.

The methodology was developed by the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta Conservancy, the California Coastal Conservancy, the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), The Nature Conservancy, HydroFocus and Tierra Resources and funding was provided by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), the California Coastal Conservancy, Metropolitan Water District and Department of Water Resources.

The methodology has been submitted for review and approval and ACR is currently soliciting public comments. This webinar will provide an overview of the current draft methodology as well as provide an opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions and issue comments.
