Op-ed: Carbon markets keep our forests healthy

In September 2026, ACR Executive Director, Mary Grady, had an op-ed in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Her main message: “More than 200,000 families in Arkansas own forestland. For these landowners, carbon markets offer a way to preserve their family’s legacy while also enhancing wildlife, recreation, and income streams on their properties.”
